The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers Local 46 is located at 1322 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10021. Our jurisdiction includes the boroughs of New York City, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, as well as Westchester, Southern Section of Rockland County, Suffolk and Nassau Counties. Our jurisdiction includes all segments of reinforced steel, post tension, wire lath, black iron, and suspended ceilings to name a few examples we do heavy and highway, airports, commercial and residential buildings.

The objective of Local 46 is to Promote, by all proper means, the material and intellectual welfare of its members and their families. Secure, by all legal and proper means, adequate wages, working conditions, and opportunities of employment. Encourage its members to register and vote in the interest of obtaining higher standards of citizenship and secure adequate legislation that will safeguard and promote the principles of free collective bargaining.

We, here at Local 46, have one of the finest Apprentice Programs as well as Journeyman upgrading programs in all of New York City. We are one of the oldest and proudest Labor Unions in New York with a history rich in tradition and experience.
